Dear all,
It's hard to fail to be impressed by Nehemiah. He's in a position of privilege as cupbearer to the king - both as a security checker and a confidante of significant standing. But he's prepared to sacrifice this comfortable life and even his own life to help restore Jerusalem to its former glory.

As I’m sure most, if not all of you know, last Sunday is the last service that I will be leading worship here at LPC.
Many of you have expressed sadness at hearing the news of our plans to leave, and your kind comments have been very reassuring for us to know how much you have appreciated our presence and ministry at LPC

Dear all
The Apostle John is reputed to have been the only Apostle not to have been martyred. And he lived, we understand, into his nineties. His final years were spent in Ephesus, and he had one message for his followers. It was 'Little children, love one another'. After a time, it is said, the disciples wearied at always hearing the same words, asked, 'Master, why do you always say this'? And John would reply 'It is the Lord's command and if this alone be done, it is enough'. So why was the ‘Apostle of Love' so focused on this quality. He explains his reasons in 1 John 4:7-12.
